We, at “Animation Guy” Production studio, simply LOVE animation!
We love everything about it…
The process, the storytelling, the design, the material, the software, the limitlessness of the medium, the challenges it puts us through when we have to come up with a new “shtick” or “MacGyver” our way around problems which require creative solutions.
We have a special place in our heart and are inspired by the greatest animation creators in the world; from Walt Disney, Don Bluth and Tim Burton, to Hayao Miyazaki, Ishu Patel and Yuri Norstein, or from John Lasseter, Seth MacFarlane and Genndy Tartakovsky to Norman Mclaren, Ralph Bakshi and Bill Plympton.
But honestly, all these above names and many more, owe something or another to Georges Méliès, and Eadweard Muybridge, without which the technology would not have yielded the footstool for which greatness rose, by breaking mold after mold, norm after norm, and bring us from “A Trip to the Moon” and “Humorous Phases of Funny Faces” to “Coco” and “Isle of Dogs”.
